Everett L. Plunkett, 72, who farmed all of his life 3 miles southeast of Crawfordsville died Saturday at 10 p.m. at Culver Hospital. He had been in failing health for two years. Born in Montgomery County on Jan 31, 1883, he was the son of President and Lyda McCoy Plunkett. On October 2, 1904, he married Laura Bayless. Survivors include the widow; a son, Earl of near Wallace; one daughter, Mrs. Clella Stacie of Rt. 1, Waynetown, two brothers, Lora of Oakland, California and Lt. Bine Plunkett of Bradenton, Iowa; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Lanum of Ft. Wayne; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Proffitt & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. John Servies officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Cemetery. -- typed by kbz
